This ten mile trail travels along the old Great Northern Railroad's Tatman Branch Line (named for its location in Tatman Township), which once ran up to the Minot Air Force Base. This flat gravel multi-use trail is used by hikers, runners, bicycles and snowmobiles.
Take US-83/North Broadway north to 46th Ave NE (across from the bypass). Head east on 46th Avenue to 27th St NE (Co Hwy 19). Cross 27th St and park on the north side of 46th Ave (across from the railroad stub track) in front of the brown sign.
